PFISTER RESIDENCE

Fully transformed - 60's split level to Craftsman!

The street presence of this 60's split level was plain and uninviting.  The Pfisters always wanted to live in a craftsman home; our work was cut out for us!  Sustainability was an important element as well -- we used salvaged items like windows, doors, brick and even a solid maple floor from a high school gym renovation.  Solar panels, xeriscaping, and a rainwater catch basin add to the home's efficiency.

 

 

Project Details:

  • 2,300 SF + new detached garage

  • Existing 1960's split-level 

  • Lower-level garage converted into living space: TV room, two bedrooms + bath, laundry

  • New main-level open plan kitchen & great room

  • Existing three bedrooms & two baths remain upper level (includes master suite remodel)
